“Having founded the Give a Gift Campaign 8 years ago I am extremely excited to be launching it again this week for Christmas 2018. I am absolutely delighted to be working alongside the South Holland Voice newspaper along with longstanding partners to the campaign, Baytree Winter Wonderland, We’ll Let Your House, Sainsbury’s , Beals Department Store, Karsten UK, DGG Property Consultants and South Holland District Council, all of whom offer not only collection points, but also support the campaign through extremely generous donations.
Christmas is not about presents, it is about family, sharing and celebrating. But, as a father, I could not imagine the look on my Thomas’ face if he was to run downstairs on Christmas morning, to see no presents to open. This is however the case for many children across South Holland which is why I founded this extremely successful campaign 7 years ago.
Please help is ensure that less fortunate children in South Holland have a Christmas present to open this Christmas. We are asking for you to donate a Christmas present to one of our collection points for a children aged between 3 years and 14 years old. We respectfully ask that the gifts are in new or ‘as new’ condition and we are unable to accept cuddly toys, makeup, toiletries or food/ perishable items due to health and safety. The presents can be of any value to suit your budget, we are however unable to accept money. The presents will then be distributed by myself and my team to less fortunate families, with any leftover going to South Holland and Boston Child Services in time for Christmas.”
